However, AK has nothing to do with the country.
There is
SIXTEEN major manufactures of AKs in the United States and plenty more home made guns. I don't really give a shit who designed it, so long as it made within my home land.
The design is cheap and old. It can be made without any major tooling and even without electricity. It shows this in the end product. This is a null point to you however, because your not the one making them.
You get what you pay for.

FN Scar, HK 416, ACR, etc are all rifles that use eugene stoner's locking lug rotating bolt. These rifles are spawned from the M16/M4.
And on top of that, the recent explosion of gas piston conversion kits/complete gas piston rifles just adds more icing.
