I take whatever the head of Nissan North America says with a grain of salt. Ultimately Japan aka Ghosn and company have say. I would bet Nissan North America head said we were never getting a GTR as well. LOL

Oh and not to sound cynical but don't pin your hopes on Toyota either. They have a track record for screwing up sports offerings when they bring them out anyways.
2000 GT great idea too expensive for the times not mass produced.
MR2 original to small and quirky looking. 2nd gen Ok looking decent power in turbo form but heavy car with twitchy feel unless corrected.
Supra - always too heavy

AE86- never intended to be what it got used for in motorsports and pretty much is a tin can that slide. LOL

Now given the track record listed above you expect them to do the FT86 right? LOL forget it.
Most of you are better off buying something else like a Z or whatever. I do not care what anyone of you says a 350Z owns the S chassis. IMO
Even if they did bring one out most of you would either be A: I can't afford it or B: I make more money now and I don't want to buy another brand new equivalent of the 240sx.
In other words put the horse in coffin and bury it. You've been pumping bullets into it for way to long.
