Intresting, what is it about the oil pumps being different (RWD: SR20DE vs. SR20DET) that you have heard?

I recently picked up an SR20DE (RWD: NA) for my S13, and I'm currently researching the differences, so this thread could be helpful.

What I do know is: (all my info pertains to the RWD platform unless otherwise stated)
- That they're pretty much the same as far as maintenance parts go; gaskets, seals etc.
- DET valvetrain upgrades do fit DE motors.
- I've heard conflicting stories that the DE and DET valve cover gaskets/grommets are different, I can neither confirm or deny this at the moment. The valve covers themselves are different slightly, You cant install the DET coilpack cover onto a DE cover.


There's a lot more that I could list but I'm a bit lazy...
