"I'm about ready to get my coilovers and I don't know much about 240's yet"

ok, not to flame, but how can you be ready for coilovers if you don't know anything about your car?

if you want to autocross, first read the rules your host(s) have on suspension tuning first. That usually matters, a lot. Buying coils might mean no fun in a tough class.

learn about your car before buying anything for it. learn about suspension before buying suspension.

"But I'm not a woman... so I don't care if they are stiff. I don't want something that is insanely stiff though. "

that sentence tells me that you have no idea how stiff you want your suspension. go to a 240 meet, ask to ride in people's car with coilovers. You do not want to get something with 8/6k or 10/8 and then find out your ass doesn't enjoy it very much.

you ask other people to help, we're telling you that you need to be able to help yourself. how the hell do we know what kinda guy you are and what you really want? your orignal post doesn't ask any specific questions, only I want coils, i dont' want to spend more than 15 bills.

and you realize everyone who knows the answer to your questions have already typed them out more than enough times. Dousan wrote a very nice comparo between his HE and Dorifto's FLTA2. you think he did that for fun?

i can't tell you much, cause i don't have coils myself... yet. but i do know that there is A LOT to know about them. I love adjustment, so i personally wouldn't get WS. I would never get Tien, but that is more of a personal reason. I would probably also never get JIC, also for a personal reason. probably not cusco... personal reason, nothing to do with my car.... so you see, it has a lot to do with choice and personal perference. One person can tell you "Tiens suck ass, don't get them" or "JIC mistreat people". so you overlook them. how do you know they might not be perfect for you? you going to over look something cause some nameless guy over the internet tells you to? *sigh* do some work, don't be lazy. After you install suspension without knowing EXACTLY what you want and what youre getting, youre not going to be happy. Spending a wad of cash and not being happy/satisfied sucks.
/<end rant>

i spent time on this post, so don't give me that "no one cares, why doesn't anyone hell me?" attitude. or i'll get nitekids to annoy the shit out of you.
