"nice being able to cut lanes at 110 with no overshoot"
*shakes head*

I think a nice beginner setup is stock with GOOD all around (not all season!) performance tires. Fresh or aftermarket bushings all around will do wonders to help you feel the road and take out the slop of your suspension components. As you want to deviate from that, sway bars are a great first mod. Getting better steering feedback is VERY helpful for learning so you could go for some aftermarket tie rods and tc rods. Then springs/shocks or coilovers. After that I dono, but I'd say going for other aftermarket arms to fine tune your suspension geometry would be a good next step. there are bunches of random "chassis strengthening" parts that people claim help them go faster but I wouldn't bother with them until you get your suspension working hard enough to flex your chassis to a noticable amount. though some could say you want chassis bracing FIRST so you don't get your car bent and weakened. *shrugs* I don't think anybody on here really knows the effects of all that stuff beyond the fact that flex changes suspension geometry and therefore is bad.

Really to help you we need your goals and price range.
