1. Take off pan
2. Bang out dent
3. Squeeze out gasket maker
4. Install pan
5. Crank engine
It takes a bit to get the pressure up on a motor that's been sitting for a while. Generally, SR oil pumps are sturdy...it's the fact that the pickup is SO CLOSE to the pan, that they can't suck oil and that causes starvation.
