A lot of the Coilovers I've found for the S-Chassis seem to be way too stiff to get a halfway decent launch with.
Apparently Fortune auto has coils with a special option with revised dampening for Drag Racing now. I'd check those out.
Also, a little bit of positive camber may help too. I believe S13's (and S14's are close to this I'd imagine) gain somewhere around .75*-1* of negative camber for every inch as the suspension travels (squat) in the rear.
