not on the bottom of the threads, but on the skinny nipple part.
go get an injector o ring and stick it on the end of it and screw it back in.

Also, any time I do any PS work on my cars, I always use some sort of Power Steering Stop-Leak when I reassemble everything. The Lucas Product seems to be the best on the Market and is the only one I can remember off the top of my head. It's really good for sealing up tiny/small leaks.
