The event was good overall, but I just wish I had more track time to drift. Didn't really care too much for the skid pad and j-turns but I was lovin the drift track layout. Did anyone hit the first turn on the drift track in 3rd gear? I was hoping to try it out but seemed like there was not enough room to get up to speed. The esses were nice too, very fast going through there.
I thought I would get one last chance to go on the drift track for the last session but instead they opened up the whole track to grip driving. That kinda bummed me out, but I still had fun running the whole track. It was nice that they let us alternate between drift and grip. Whenever my group was on the skid pad or j-turns, I would go out for some grip driving.
The organization was ok, I understand it was their first time running an event. But the registration line was ridiculous, they should've had at least one other table open. I missed most of the drivers meeting even though I got there right at 7am. But overall a very fun day. Seemed like a good turn out so hopefully we'll have more events up here.
