thanks for the input, but i think i have you confused with which line i have...lol

the line i have is just to replace the rubber hose and is about 9 inches long i would guestimate. the line you're thinking of is the entire clutch line for the auto to manual conversion. my car is an all natural 5 speed

as im typing this, it seems like uve edited ur post and now have realized this... so il just post this anyways to clear anyone elses confusion if it so happens

edit: and as for kinking the hardline, you dont need to really bend it all that much angle wise. just bend the line so it turns around to face the short line. the pics i post tomorrow will explain this better than i have. as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words (or somethin like that...lolz)
