I don't see all the obsession about "light" and "legit" wheels. I would only buy nice expensive wheels for looks. They offer awesome sizes and offsets that cheaper wheels don't. But now that wheel companies like xxr are starting to listen to what people want and are making better sizes and offsets, why hate on them? I don't care too much about drag racing, and I don't road race my s14. I drift it. My car will break loose just fine with heavy "knockoff" wheels, or legit light wheels so what's the difference? And if I wreck I would rather bend or scratch a cheap wheel. I can understand if the xxr's weighed like 50lbs vs 20 something of other light awesome wheels but I'm pretty sure they only weigh a little more. And in the grand scheme of things you won't notice that difference until you start trying to shave every pound off your car or start trying to shave seconds off of times at the track. And I don't think "cheap" wheels including rota's just explode or bend for no reason. If you hit something, there is a chance you break something. This is true for everything on your car regardless of price.
