I will state what I have stated before. Due to the offset studs and the mounts being circular it allows you to shift the position of the stud in the engine bracket which can lower the engine 1/2-1 inch lower than Nismo mounts. This can also be achieved by setting one centered stud up and one down. The maximum lowest position is achieved by putting the centered studs up on each with the offset stud rotated to the outside. This is how its achieved. Nothing sketchy about it at all.

I have said this before as well but I will say it again. At the lowest position your oil pan does not sit below your crossmember. This has been documented in the review thread.
