So this probably isn't a DIY type of job? I don't have access to a vacuum pump nor do I know how to use it.

I really just want to know if there's a way I can test my compressor to know if it is still good or not. I don't want to add oil & freon to my compressor and find out it is dead. My AC was running fine before I went KA-T and leaked out all the freon so, blah.

I know where I can get a compressor for $50 but if I can test and verify MY compressor is good then I could save $50.

Let me know guys. Thanks for all the replies!
