will a HSS bit take time or is its rather quick. ive drilled through metal before and never experienced this kinda on difficulty

the bit i tried i was going at it for a solid 30-40 minutes and barely made it 1/4 of the way through. i wasnt forcing it either light to med pressure letting the bit do the work
I used that exact bit it took me about I dunno 5-10 minutes tops per S13 spindle.
