There is a sequence of how the wires are supposed to be, I'll try to find it later. In the mean time, try this trick that helped me when I had the same problem:

Enter changes into the PFC, turn the key to start, and then shut it off. This should save the changes. My car has a push button start so it doesn't engage the starter.
