If you are gonna be lazy.
make sure to put something solid a long the backside of the header.
Like a length of wood or metal, so the channel locks only bend the one side in.
I would also be careful of the square edges ripping into the header.
maybe bend a coin or large washer a little, and put it on the channel locks so you are putting pressure on with a curved surface.
