This date came from one man, Harold Camping. He was kicked out of church in 1988 for trying to preach his own words and not the Bible. For a man to predict judgment day is totally wrong. No one will know when Jesus will return to earth, like mentioned before, He will come as a theft at night.
Matthew 24:36 " No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angles in heaven, nor the son, but only the Father."
