The trick to getting the transmission out easly, (Without hitting the fire wall) is to disconect the exhaust at the Catalyctic convertor, and then pull down on the down pipe. That will give you just enough room to manuver the transmission around. Trust me, it makes it much!!! easier! Ok, back to the subject, I think I will go with either solid mounts, or fill my OE mounts will polyurathane. <(Ijust need to know how to do it first???) If my motor sits 1/4" higher it will hit my strut bar. Maybe the old mushy OE mounts are saging? The nismo mounts may position the engine at the correct hieght or somewhere near it?
