I'd refrain from trying to force it in. You can and will bend your clutch disk. Back it off some, spin the input shaft and try restabbing it. If you have too, put the trans in gear and turn it clockwise/counter clockwise to aid in lining the splines up. Use some force but don't just say fuck it and squeeze it together with the trans bolts. I suspect youre not splined correctly.
