How's the heat from the downpipe with that stuff? I recently had to pull all my firewall matting out on the driver's side (water damage thanks to leaky taillights with the rear of the car on jack stands during a storm, yayyy), and I'd like to be able to drive without cooking my feet. lol
I haven't driven it yet, but I figure that with no A/C, no heatshield on my downpipe, and no firewall pad or carpet, things are gonna get a little bit toasty in there. |
All I have is carpet, and after about an hour long drive from a drift event, the plastic padding thing where your heels go was all melted down where my right foot was sitting.
