air filter, fuel filter, already been said...both these can make a huge difference.
check the wiring on your mafs. Check that the cat isn't clogged up, if it is your manifold will be getting read hot and shit. check your timing, its often out of whack. a few degrees of advance might help you.
buy some carb cleaner and clean up your throttle body (made a big difference on my car when I cleaned off all the gunk). Change the spark plugs, check the wires.
