When I replaced my distributor cap and rotor on my KA just a few weeks ago I carefully used a flat-head screwdriver to release the rubber seal that holds the piece with the rotor on it in place. After that's done you can take that piece out of the car and remove the rotor fairly easily by just pulling it off. Be sure not to lose that little rubber seal though cuz you'll need it when you put everything back.
