Quick question about pilot bushing
I noticed that my new pilot bushing slid loosely over the input shaft of the trans before I installed it... I tapped it into the back of the crank, and I now have two concerns........
My clutch alignment tool barily fits into the bushing. I can only get the tip into the bushing. This leads my to believe that the bushing was compressed when I hammered it into the hole.......? Is the hole tapered and maybe I hammered it too far back in? How far in is the bushing supposed to be?
