LOL, no doubt, we can get 1000hp from just about anything these days, but the reason I took the position I did was because he brought up drifting and autocross and the likely hood he is on a budget which does't make sense to me. A ls1 swap isn't nearly as expensive as a rb26/2jz and is really easy to make power with reliably and has plenty of low-mid range torque which is ideal for drift and autocross with driving skill set aside. And apparently the pro drift community cares enough to create a class for the "rod pushin" POS chevy(really v8's but most are ls engines). Dont get me wrong I'm not a Chevy whore but you got to admit their pretty badass engines when put in a s-chassis. eeewwwwwwwwwwww 5.0 foxbody blahhhhhh.
