Did that my first year of driving as well. My driver's instructor was a fucking prick about making kids look over their shoulders to check their blind spots, so I was in the habit of craning my neck backwards hardcore every lane change I made. Was driving home from school one day, traffic in my lane was going slow as fuck so I looked back to change into the next lane over, truck in front of me stops so he can cut it into the turn lane way past where you're supposed to get into it, across the solid white. My fault, lol.
