I was there for comm school, F that place. I hate it and hope I never go back. I may not reenlist, even though I'm tier 1 just because I'll have to go back to the school house for 62 or instructor course. Its the its the gateway to hell there, nothing but military, cheating wives or meth heads. However, we use to have a car meet at the autozone every Sunday.
They only teach 2800 and some 5900 at MCCES. 1100 Electricians (utilities) A school is taught in Camp LeJuene.
29 Palms has a paint booth and its actually very nice. The old guy there will spray your car for 50 bucks if you do all the prep work. the rates are awesome there compared to the one here in Camp P. $6 an hr for a lift... way too expensive for my taste, especially if you use it all day.
