When I first lowered my car and aligned it on an uneven surface I had toe out in the back. You know how if you have toe out in the front it makes the steering twitchy/super responsive?? Well toe out in the back made my car feel like the rear end was on marbles. It felt like the subframe was attached to the car via jell-o. Just put it this way:

Front toe in - stable front end
Front toe out - responsive but twitchy front end
Rear toe in - stable/somewhat harder to break loose rear end
Rear toe out - scary as hell will make you feel like you're driving sideways in the rain with your eyes closed...
