If you are talking about the "subaru" sound, well a boxer engine will sound "normal" if it doesn't have an unequal length header. The rumbling sound of a WRX or a WRX STI is because of the stock unequal exhaust collector due to the turbo placement on one side of the engine.
Because the FR-S and the BRZ will be N/A, I'm pretty sure the exhaust header will be of equal length design, and will sound like a normal 4-banger
But you can bet one of the first mods released will be an unequal length header to get that "subaru rumble" sound
