yea its pretty much whats in the sticky and what I said, except the cutting trim since you dont have to do that in your s14, as he was reffering to his actualy s15 vehicle as you stated.
if you plan on going 5 speed, why not just get the s14 SR20det zenki or kouki? it will cost you less, comes with the 5 speed tranny.and its pretty much the same thing other than you can say," I have a Spec-R" lol, by the way that I loved saying........ so other than small minor mechanical details. putting it in a short way, the ecu makes it to 250hp, and the s14 makes the 220hp, so its just the factory tune that makes it bump HP to 250(yes i know, turbo, injectors coilpacks etc are different).getting an aftermarket computer on the s14 would be the same thing if you would upgrade your s15 ecu(and aftermarket supporting parts to go with ECU).basically, yes, same motor for less but no 6 speed.
so after I had my s15's, i was like damn, s14's are the same shit lol
but if your gonna keep it stock, the s15 6 speed tranny with the supporting s15 helical differential kick ass!!! loved the gearing on that thing!!loved how the S15 turbo spooled.
