It all depends on how much you drive, cost of an alignment, and cost of tires. And... if you can be aligned "into specs" on your blown shocks.
If you have one of the "lifetime alignments" (from, say, Firestone), and it's "Free" after the first one... go get it done.
If you drive a lot of miles a day, or are going to be waiting more than a month or two (and this is your daily)... get the alignment done.
If your tires are "soft" ("performance"/ low treadlife rating)... get an alignment. (Say, treadwear rating of under 300)
If your tires are more than $150 a piece... get an alignment.
If your not going to drive it, tires are cheap, or you're JUST about to buy your coils... don't worry about it.
If your car cannot be aligned into specs with the blown shocks... don't worry about it.
