The original owner was This old guy in mission viejo, it was pulled out of his 1938 showcar. He got the pan chromed and tried to do he install himself. Supposedly put the oil pickup O ring in wrong and starved it just enough to make noise, he pulled the pan found a tiny bit of metal and with more money than patience, rather than wait 3 weeks to rebuild, he ended up ordering another crate engine.
Bottom line is its going to need some bearings or mild rebuild. perfect for someones start up project.
