Yeah, I'd stay away from both of those cars. I agree with justinbryant with the stolen comment. Also it looks like the wiring has been messed with--basically a huge headache in the making.
Just keep lurking Craigslist and be patient if you truly want a 240.
Being a poor college student myself, however, I would suggest getting something else. As justinbryant suggested a stock, cheap and reliable Honda is probably the way to go...
