Play the nice guy route that way you don't come off as a stalker.
send her a message on facebook. tell her something like you made a lasting impression, and you feel that if you didn't give yourself the opportunity to ask, then you might miss out on something great. Then tell her it's V-day, and if she would like company, you guys can catch a bite to eat.
And then apologize and tell her that you asked mulitple friends how to approach you, and they said the creeper message may actually work, and the odds of 99% fail to 1% success was in your favor (girls like that shit). So you took the 1%.
