I had a similar problem after I replaced the water pump of my car, which was weird. I tried to research the problem here, but didn't find much. When in park, I would hit the brake pedal repeatedly and I noticed the idle climb to nearly 2000 rpms. I checked my throttle position sensor harness and coolant temperature sensor harness and I noticed if I moved the wires, the rpms would drop back to normal. My KA24DE idles fine now, but I had that problem for a few months. A few weeks ago, it just went away and I haven't had the problem since.

Truthfully I don't know exactly what the problem was, but my best guess is the wiring on the throttle position sensor harness connectors. Just trying to help you out so you narrow down your issue.
