Integral handbrake upgrade caliper option extravaganza

Hello gentlemen,
First of all, pardon me if this idea is totally stupid for some obvious technical reason that is not obvious to me.
My question is, would it be feasible to adapt Series 6 RX-7 rear rotors and calipers onto an S-chassis?

My main reasoning for doing so is the fact that the RX-7 calipers use an integral handbrake setup very similar to the S-chassis. I believe it could be made to work with the factory cables, possibly without even requiring any (extensive) modification.
If using the calipers would just be a matter of having a custom adapter bracket fabbed up, that would be wonderful.

While the calipers themselves have about the same bore as S13 ones, and are nowhere near as fancy as the 300ZX and Skyline pieces, they are still a bit larger. The most noticeable difference would probably be made by the larger diameter rotor, so they should still be a decent upgrade over stock.

I know I could easily do Z32/R32 brakes, but as I said, I would rather retain the integral handbrake instead of adding the bulky drum setup, which is just personal preference.

Here are some comparisons, stock S13 on left, '93-95 RX-7 on right:

The later model FD's came with even larger rotors and possibly calipers, but since they were not offered here, it would be an annoyance to source them.

The main obstacle would most likely be the fact that the FD calipers are designed for a trailing configuration. This could possibly be solved by running the right caliper on the left side and vice versa, and tinkering with the spring mechanism for the E-brake cables a bit.

Who can make me some custom adapter brackets?
