you will go through $3500 so fast in college you won't even know what hit you. also, as said before, $3500 won't go anywhere with an SR swap. You need about double that to really do it right. Just have some fun, buy some suspension and wheels/tires, and then just drive it the way it is. Save the rest for parties and late night food and stuff. you'll need it, trust me. After 6 years of college (undergrad and grad), I've got over $40,000 in student loans. If you can avoid that...do it.
