Hay Mate,
Hoses I used (Black ones) are high pressure oil hosed from hydraulic suppler here in Australia (Pertik) more than suitable for the job. and like 'slider' said I needed the heat sleeve above the manifold as no pipe I could find was standing up to the temps above it, even now the orange bit is starting to decay (rated at above 1000c) also quite expensive. approx $70 for the pipe.

Yea I didn't weld I taped the hole in the top rocker and used a threaded 3/8th elbow with rubber washers for a good seal, also taped a 3/8th fitting into the intake (pain in the ass stainless) pipe also with a thick rubber washer for a good seal. On the 't' I used a epoxy 'steel' clay to block the front outlet.
