I think om1kron is right. The caster (and probably everything else) was already fubar'd. Replacing the tension rods and setting them to the same position as the oem one will leave the same issue, except it will be more noticeable because theres no big rubber bushing to absorb any of the shock. For as many people that have said "your alignment is the problem," you would think OP would get it aligned?
