Baby monitor.

Wired in car with normally closed relay that will turn it off when you have the ignition on so frequency snoopers can't hear you singing "careless whisper".

I did this and had to cover it up a bit to lower the mic sensitivity because I could hear people 100 feet away arguing inside thier car.

This way, you can go outside and get shot instead of getting your car stolen.

Thinking of that, I got a second one and put the receiver in the car so, when I heard something, I could simply turn on the transmitter for the other pair and tell whoever it was inside my car that I am about to show up and slit his throat.
