I have read quickly the manual on the link you gave, but you are confused.
It takes a narrowband sensor, which outputs a 0-1V signal, in a non linear way.
It CAN also use the 0-1V output of a wideband controler,which some wideband controlers can make (i have a PLX and it offers that), but these outputs are often linear, so it gives the possibility to set a conversion map (pretty much the same way the VE table of a MAF is set).
