I dont know if this has been said already.
A buddy of mine who is a master tech at Toyota said a quick test of a cylinder pressure going into the cooling system
1. Fill radiator
2. Leave cap off
3. Try to crank the motor
4. If bubble come out the radiator (bam, headgasket)
