Back in august my hood flew up on my kouki at high speed. Stock hood, stock latch- and yes, the hood was fully latched. The hood smashed the windshield as well as the sunroof, and demolished the roof. I just got the car back from the body shop after a new roof skin was installed (no sunroof now

), and I have replaced the original hod latch with a BRAND NEW one. I'm still nervous about the hood flying up again. Everyone Ive talked to has suggested hood pins. I HATE the way they look. Even the flush mount aerocatch pins look terribly ugly to me. If the car was a race car, I wouldnt care... but its a street car, and I want it to look good too. If there are no other options available, I will just install aerocatch pins... but Id really prefer to do something that isnt visible once the hood is closed. Does anyone have any ideas?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
