I have non-oem slave cylinder and still works fine (w/ many clutch kicks)...($11) but the company that distributes them uses OEM cores, and rebuilds them to better than OEM specs...
how can it be BETTER than OEM specs? its not science, the slave cylinder is just a single piston that pushes on the clutch fork. SO, is it any different than OEM? if so, how is it better? take both apart and show full comparison pics.
when shopping for master cylinders, i got a chance to compare cheap aftermarket with expensive aftermarket, and then.. with OEM. So, I saw the difference in quality. The cheap one was made very shoddily. The more expensive one was basically a remanufactured OEM unit.. and of course, new OEM is exactly that.
