The really interesting part is that they didn't sew on the other part. It was smooshed in the log splitter, and I yanked my hand out. So whatever was left didn't go to the ER with me. The skin on top of the finger is from my palm. There is a thread about it on here somewhere that explains everything. There are, or were lots of pics throughout the entire ordeal. Surprisingly enough, when there are no nerves left in the tip of your finger, it doesn't hurt nearly as bad as it looks like it should. FF to today though, and if you've ever stuck your finger in hot wax before, and allowed it to cool. Keep the wax on there once it hardens, and that's how my finger feels today.

Edit, I was working all day. That nasty shit on my nails is from stripping/re-waxing the floors at work today.
