Any interior component (and most externals) labelled "Type R," have no business on my vehicle. *shudders as he recalls the Type R Cigarrette Lighter. Betcha that thing was a lean, mean, lightin' MACHINE man!!

LOL. Thanks, I needed that. By the way, prior to cutting off the shift knob, I actually did wrap it with a towel a put pliers on it. I still couldn't get the #### thing to turn. The truck stays outside a lot, so I'm thinking the shifter just glued itself on over the years. I figured rather than hurting the stick or housing where the little plastic ball dealy is, (thru wrenching it hard) I'd cut it off and call it good. Just have to be careful with the razor blade.
