Well...since Honda uses v-tec..isnt is possible that 200 hp is the max theortical output? Isnt it that it only produces 200 bhp in VTEC range? So take the Civic Si. 160 bhp produced, but thats only in V-tec range. So again, as a former Honda person (maybe a former ricer? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> I still think its all hype.

I don't see why this is such a big deal. "It only makes power in VTEC range." Most cars make max hp within 1000rpm of redline. It's just a way of making high output out of a small displacement engine. And it's not like you can't modify it for more hp. Like I said earlier...somebody will make a turbo for it soon. It's just a different car altogether. They have no torque, but they rev quite easily to stratospheric numbers...something our cars can't do. They both have their pros and cons...to each his own I guess. But I'll always have a place in my heart for both Nissans and Hondas...well, really for all cars for that matter.:)
