they ARE loud, and i mean it. I could hear my friends setup over its 4" Ti exhaust, and he kept the back seats. It is not just loud, the noise is terrible as well. Worst thing ever heard in a car, even an open header SR20 sounds better (and boy do they sound like crap)
I would not do external setups unless i really have to... and if i had, i'd use a swirl tank. Dual 044 without a swirl tank is a big mistake imho.
