Nice, thanks for the reply, i did a research and came to this post from someone:
"No a soch will not work in doch. You have to take the cluster facing off, then take out the soch tach, just the tach, there are three holes on the back that hold it and you can use a anolog doch tach for the swap. And just pit it back in order the way you took it apart and done. Did it when i found a hud soch, just replaced the tach and everything worked."
