brazing cast aluminum is really hard if it is possible, in most cases it is not, but im guessing this is some cheap and really soft kind of material so yeah, maybe, but it requires a lot of experience, and an aluminum neck/pipe of the right size.

actually, rtv should work, not the way he applied it but if done properly it should. I have never had the pleasure of dealing with one of this infamous manifolds (wont have to since i will probably never achieve the kind of power that calls for it) but i am assuming the neck fits in it a least a bit tight, yes? If u clean up the surfaces really good, use some higher quality silicone (i used to use motorcraft silicone, the black one used for diesel engines, now i use "the right stuff" found in autozones), and let it cure at least over night, u should have good results.
I recently removed the neck from my stock intake manifold to cut it and weld it on a different angle cuz my new cold pipe wasnt clearing. After welding it, all i had to do was clean up the surfaces really good, add a layer of thread locker (forgot the brand, it's red), and slide it back into the manifold by slightly tapping on it with a mallet, let it cure over night, done, not a single drop after a couple of months and a lot of hard driving. But i am sure the necks dont fit as tight in ffim as they do on stock im, that's why i would and recommend to use a more filling material such as a good quality silicone.
After all it's not like coolant pressure raise up to 100's, it's only 13psi stock, what is a nismo "high performance" cap? 21? around there? Not much
A coolant leak would be the least of my concerns when switching to a cheap ffim, porous material causing vaccum/boost leaks would be my main concern. U should probably do a boost leak test right after u finish your install, before u start driving it that way it's completely dry inside, cover the whole manifold with soapy water and see how it goes, could also check your gaskets for leaks.
