you my friend walked right into the typical half assed wiring scenario.
the only reason those gauges, or anything for that matter, isn't working right is wiring.
what's the;
year:
motor:
etc..
did you do this wiring yourself? I just re-wired my entire center vent 3 gauge cluster, my custom switch panel, along with my ECU wiring. All because of a "glitch" we'll call it.
it's too easy to add too many wires to a single connection, butt connect something wrong, tape something wrong, connect something wrong, yadda yadda.
little more pictures of exactly where your connections are, as well as exactly what you're running as far as gauges.
i had a similar issue with my oil temp gauge not lighting up all the way. turned out to be a faulty connection in my battery wire. (gauge lit up 100% when attached to a brand new battery fresh off the charger)
as stupid as it sounds, it doesn't take much to cause a massive draw on your battery, causing it to not put out enough power to light everything up, (especially stupid when it all worked 100% the day, hour, even minutes before you took it out)
let me know if i didn't make an ounce of sense.
